I think complete strangers can teach you the most important things w/out even knowing it.
I'm from the Washington D.C. area, but I've lived in the Tulsa area most of my life. I am quite the geek/nerd when it comes to music, art, & movies of all kinds. My brain's just a sponge, really. I don't forget many things... except for peoples' names. I'm terrible w/remembering names. Faces, though, I rarely forget.
My friends are my family, basically. I love them, probably more than they realize. Music is definitely a BIG passion of mine. I play a handful of different instruments. I've always been artistic. I love history & pretty much all the subjects in school that people don't like. Good grammar/punctuation turn me on. I work during the weeks & go to school part time, working for my teaching degree. Elementary education, ya'll. HOLLA.
Did I mention I'm also very white?
I guess I'm the artsy/bubbly one "of the group," & sarcasm is like a 2nd language for me... (It covers up the cynicism & vulnerability). I'm generally pretty content/happy, but I am always thinking & this can lead to sullenness on occasion. I <3 Tulsa. I am a perfectionist. I'm also very short. I don't sleep a whole lot. I'm often conflicted about the goings-on in the world & how I lead my daily life. I absolutely despise injustice. I try to be responsible... It works out the majority of the time. Ha
I'm in love w/a guy by the name of Phillip. One of TU's most exemplary students, if you ask me. ;-) He is very tall & funny & probably the closest thing to Ed Steven's that a girl can find.
I have a Bassett Hound (Bogart) and he's pretty amazing. I'm an extremely observational person so I get a kick out of everyday things. I ponder all sorts of crazy stuff throughout the day, but I try to keep it to myself. It's probably better that way. I plan on gaining some perspective this year, traveling, & really enjoying my friends and family. Life's a grand adventure.
My paragraph structuring here stinks, I realize this. But it made more sense to separate everything than to have it all in one giant mess that people would be less inclined to read than they already are. Ha
Even in the hustle & bustle, things will bloom, whether you notice them or not. It's always important to take the time to stop &... well, you know the saying. :-)
